## What Asclepiad is
Asclepiad is a guided reflection app. Each part of a session is set against real footage of one location, filmed to feel like one continuous walk. Users speak with Maia (an AI companion who listens without judgement), and receive a personal letter shaped by what they shared. Hortus is the storyteller behind Asclepiad — four of his stories are published and readable now, and inside the app he writes an original story for your reflection. Not therapy. Not clinical. A private space for reflection.

## What Asclepiad is NOT
- Not a therapy service or mental health treatment
- Not end-to-end encrypted (honest framing: anonymous, with trusted processors)
- Not a subscription by default — pay for what you use (1 AsclepiCoin = 1 minute)
