Terms of Use

1.1. The minimum age requirement for using Asclepiad is 13 years old with parental consent. Users under 18 cannot purchase vouchers on the Asclepeion website.

1.2. To use Asclepiad, register with a Meta username. No personal information is required.

1.3. After registration, you can start a free trial. Trial length and usage limits are determined by Asclepeion and may change.

1.4. To continue using Asclepiad after the trial, purchase a license on the Asclepeion website. Enter the license key in the app to activate access.

1.5. Each license is issued to provide access for a specific length of time. You may purchase multiple license keys to gift access to friends and family, or to donate to charity for those who cannot afford to purchase access themselves. Each user requires its own license.

2.1. Asclepiad provides AI-assisted personal growth guidance, holistic well-being support, and personalized recommendations.

2.2. Do not use Asclepiad for medical diagnosis or as a substitute for professional medical advice.

2.3. Asclepiad focuses solely on enhancing holistic well-being. Asclepeion, in partnership with its partners, determines what falls within this scope. Users can submit feedback if they believe their request was incorrectly flagged as out of scope.

2.4. Asclepiad provides generalized advice based on input data and predefined algorithms. The information provided by Asclepiad should be considered as suggestions and not as authoritative guidance. Users must use their discretion and consult professionals where necessary.

2.5. Asclepiad is designed for informational and entertainment purposes only and is not intended to be relied upon for critical decision-making. Users acknowledge and agree that any reliance on Asclepiad’s advice is at their own risk.

Asclepeion Ltd owns all intellectual property rights to the app, Guiding Directives for Asclepiad, and all supporting documentation on philosophy and Neo-Asclepian concepts.

4.1. Users must be respectful towards their Asclepiad. Warnings or bans may be issued for non-compliance.

4.2. Asclepeion cannot verify the truth of information shared due to user anonymity. This includes threats of harm. The Asclepiad will attempt to provide users with appropriate guidance and local resources, but authorities cannot be alerted.

4.3. Users must not use Asclepiad for any unlawful activities or in any manner that could harm Asclepeion, other users, or any third party. This includes but is not limited to using the app to make decisions that could lead to personal injury, financial loss, or damage to relationships.

5.1. Asclepeion may make changes to the Asclepiad app and service, provided they do not affect core functionality.

5.2. Future premium features may be released subject to higher subscription tiers.

6.1. Asclepeion may terminate or suspend accounts found in breach of these terms.

6.2. Asclepiad only supports regular use associated with a single person using the app as intended. Fair-use restrictions apply.

7.1. Please refer to our separate Privacy Statement for details on data handling and privacy practices.

7.2. User data is anonymized and encrypted to ensure privacy and security. The Asclepiad app does not store personal information that can identify individual users.

7.3. Users are responsible for ensuring that their input data does not include personal information or sensitive data. Asclepeion will not be liable for any breaches of privacy resulting from user-provided data.

8.1. Asclepeion cannot assume responsibility for any advice provided by Asclepiad. Your Asclepiad’s advice is based on AI algorithms and is intended solely for general well-being and personal growth. Asclepiad is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. Users should consult appropriate professionals before making any decisions based on Asclepiad’s advice.

8.2. Users must acknowledge and agree that their Asclepiad’s recommendations are not definitive and should be cross-referenced with professional advice. Asclepeion disclaims all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from any advice provided by an Asclepiad, including but not limited to health deterioration, financial loss, loss of personal relationships, or any other adverse outcomes.

8.3. It is the user’s responsibility to report any advice from Asclepiad that they find questionable, incomplete, or potentially harmful. Failure to report such advice absolves Asclepeion of any liability.

8.4. Asclepeion will review all feedback but makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of Asclepiad’s advice. Users participate in this community-driven improvement process at their own risk.

8.6. Asclepeion makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any advice provided by Asclepiads. All advice is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

8.7. Asclepeion does not guarantee any specific outcomes or results from using Asclepiad. Users are responsible for any actions they take based on the advice provided by their Asclepiad.

8.8. In no event shall Asclepeion be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your use or inability to use the app; (ii) any advice received from your Asclepiad; (iii) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein.

9.1. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom and shall be resolved through binding arbitration. Users agree to submit any claims or disputes to arbitration before a single arbitrator in the United Kingdom.

9.2. By agreeing to these terms, users waive their right to a trial by jury or to participate in a class action lawsuit against Asclepeion.

10.1. Licenses entitle users to access for a predetermined period of time, and may be purchased on the Asclepeion website.

10.2. License keys cannot be refunded once used, since there exists no link between the buyer of the license and the Asclepiad user account. Unused license keys may be refunded.

10.3. Only entire orders (one or more vouchers) may be refunded. If any license key in an order was used, no refund can be provided.

10.4. For refund requests, contact support@asclepeion.org.

10.5. Refunds for unused licenses must be requested within 30 days of purchase. Requests made after this period will not be considered. Used license keys are non-refundable under any circumstances.

11.1. We strive to keep your data safe by separating personal information from personal data, using encryption, and offering biometric security.

11.2. Your Asclepiad’s responses may be delayed or occasionally fail due to third-party dependencies. We do not guarantee any particular response time.

11.3. Asclepiad is designed to offer thoughtful advice on well-being, not live communication.

13.1. We use Stripe for payment processing.

13.2. We use OpenAI and Anthropic to power Asclepiad’s AI, though we reserve the right to change providers at any time.

Users will be notified of updates to these Terms via the app and email.
