These Terms of Use (‘Terms’) govern your access to and use of all products, services, websites, content and events provided by Asclepeion Ltd (collectively, the ‘Services’)—including the Asclepiad app, Asclepeion.org and related sites, AsclepiCoin.org, Odyssey experiences, and any future offerings. By accessing or using any Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Statement. If you accept these Terms on behalf of another person or entity, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.
0.1. Definitions. In these Terms:
0.2. Interpretation. References to “include” or “including” are without limitation. Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation. A reference to a law includes any modification or replacement of it.
0.3. Reasonableness standard. Where we say we “reasonably believe” something, that means the belief of a reasonable person based on the information available to us at the time.
1.1. The minimum age requirement for using Asclepiad is 13 years old with parental consent. Users under 18 cannot purchase AsclepiCoins.
1.2. To use Asclepiad, register with a unique username. No personal information is required. You must keep your account personal and legitimate; we may request verification at any time and may suspend, block or remove any account we reasonably believe is not genuine, misrepresents identity, is automated, or is otherwise in breach of these Terms.
1.3. Upon registration, you may receive a complimentary allocation of AsclepiCoins to begin your journey with Asclepiad. Any allocation of free AsclepiCoins is promotional, at Asclepeion’s sole discretion, and may change or end at any time without notice. We may revoke grants and/or take action on accounts where abuse, fraud or multiple accounts are suspected.
1.4. AsclepiCoins are the digital currency used within Asclepeion Services, including securing a place on Odyssey via the Asclepiad app (subject to availability and applicable booking terms). AsclepiCoins can be:

1.5. Purchases through AsclepiCoin.org may require personal details to comply with applicable payment and compliance obligations. This information is kept separate from your pseudonymous Asclepiad account. Refunds are available only until purchased AsclepiCoins are credited to the pseudonymous Asclepiad wallet you specify; once credited in-app, they are no longer refundable (see clause 8.5).
2.1. The Services provide AI-assisted personal growth guidance, holistic well-being support and personalised recommendations.
2.2. Do not use Asclepiad or any Service for medical diagnosis or as a substitute for professional medical advice.
2.3. The Services focus solely on enhancing holistic well-being. Asclepeion, together with its partners, determines what falls within this scope. Users may submit feedback if they believe a request has been incorrectly flagged as out of scope.
2.4. Asclepiad provides generalised advice based on input data and predefined algorithms. Information provided should be treated as suggestions, not authoritative guidance. Users must exercise their own judgement and consult professionals where necessary.
2.5. Asclepiad is designed for informational and educational purposes only and is not intended to be relied upon for critical decision-making. Users acknowledge and agree that any reliance on Asclepiad’s advice is at their own risk.
3.1. Asclepeion Ltd owns all intellectual property rights in the Services, including (without limitation) the Asclepiad app, Asclepeion.org and related sites, the Guiding Directives for Asclepiad, the Asclepeion brand and trade marks, AsclepiCoin, Odyssey materials, software and code, text, graphics, logos, audio-visual content, and all supporting documentation on philosophy and Neo-Asclepian concepts.
3.2. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store or transmit any material on or from our Services, except as permitted by these Terms of Use or as otherwise allowed by applicable law.
3.3. Limited licence. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Asclepeion grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use. This licence does not permit any resale, scraping, data mining, bulk downloading, or use of content to train competing models or services.
3.4. Reporting IP concerns. If you believe material available through the Services infringes your intellectual property rights, please email legal@asclepeion.org with sufficient detail to identify the work claimed to be infringed and the allegedly infringing material. We will review and respond in line with applicable law.
3.5. Reservation of rights. Except for the limited licence set out in clause 3.3, no rights are granted to you in or to the Services or any content. All rights are expressly reserved by Asclepeion and its licensors.
4.1. Users must be respectful in their use of the Services, including interactions within the Asclepiad app. Warnings or bans may be issued for non-compliance. The following behaviours are prohibited:
4.2. Due to user anonymity, Asclepeion cannot verify the truth of information shared by users, including reports or threats of harm. The Asclepiad will attempt to provide appropriate guidance and local resources; however, authorities cannot be alerted. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services or an appropriate crisis hotline in your country.
4.3. Users must not use the Services for any unlawful activities or in any manner that could harm Asclepeion, other users or any third party. This includes (but is not limited to) relying on the Services to make decisions that could lead to personal injury, financial loss or damage to relationships.
5.1. Asclepeion may improve, update or modify the Services (including, without limitation, the Asclepiad app, our websites, AsclepiCoin and Odyssey-related functionality) from time to time — for example to add features, enhance security, fix bugs, improve performance, or comply with law. Such changes will not materially reduce core functionality of the relevant Service.
5.2. Premium features may be released and made available for different AsclepiCoin prices. Asclepeion reserves the right to modify the AsclepiCoin cost of features at any time. Any price changes apply prospectively and do not affect access you have already obtained. Refunds of AsclepiCoin purchases are governed by clause 8.5.
5.3. Core functionality. For the purposes of this clause, “core functionality” means the essential ability to access and use the features and content you already have within the relevant Service (subject to these Terms and applicable limits), excluding experimental or time-limited features, beta releases, and third-party integrations outside our control.
5.4. Maintenance and availability. The Services may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, urgent updates, or events outside our reasonable control. Where practicable, we will provide prior notice of planned maintenance and will use reasonable efforts to restore availability promptly.
6.1. Asclepeion may suspend or terminate accounts found in breach of these Terms, including (without limitation) where we reasonably believe an account is not genuine, misrepresents identity, is automated, or is otherwise being used inconsistently with clause 1.
6.2. Asclepiad and related Services support regular use by a single natural person using the Service as intended. Fair-use restrictions apply. Account sharing, rotating logins between multiple people, or using automated tools to access the Services is not permitted.
6.3. Prohibited account behaviours (non-exhaustive). Creating multiple accounts to bypass limits; impersonation or misrepresentation; resale or transfer of accounts; use of bots, scraping or scripted access; attempts to de-anonymise other users; or any activity intended to game promotional grants or rewards.
6.4. Enforcement actions. We may (at our discretion) issue warnings; restrict features; remove content; withhold or revoke promotional AsclepiCoin grants; temporarily freeze balances where abuse or fraud is suspected; suspend or terminate accounts; and/or block devices or IPs. For purchased AsclepiCoins, refunds are available only until the coins are credited to the pseudonymous Asclepiad wallet you specify; once credited in-app, they are no longer refundable (see clause 8.5).
6.5. Notice and appeal. Where practicable, we will notify you of the reason for suspension or termination and provide a channel to appeal via support@asclepeion.org. We will review appeals promptly, but we are not obliged to reinstate access.
6.6. Effect of termination. Upon termination, your licence to use the Services ends and you must cease all use. Clauses that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, dispute resolution and clause 8 on AsclepiCoins) shall continue to apply.
7.1. Please refer to our separate Privacy Statement for details on data handling and privacy practices across all Services.
7.2. User data in the Asclepiad app is pseudonymised and encrypted to help ensure privacy and security. The Asclepiad app does not store personal information that can directly identify individual users, such as full names or email addresses.
7.3. Users are responsible for ensuring that their input data does not include personal information or sensitive data. Asclepeion will not be liable for any breaches of privacy resulting from user-provided data.
7.4. Personal details collected for purchases made via AsclepiCoin.org (for example, billing information required for payment and compliance) are kept separate from your pseudonymous Asclepiad account and are not linked to your in-app identity. For further information, see our Privacy Statement.
8.1. AsclepiCoins are the digital currency used across the Services to access features in Asclepiad (for example, reflection processing and draft letters) and to secure a place on Odyssey via the Asclepiad app (subject to availability and applicable booking terms presented in-app).
8.2. Free AsclepiCoins may be provided upon registration. Any allocation of free AsclepiCoins is promotional, at Asclepeion’s sole discretion, and may change or end at any time without notice. We may revoke grants and/or take action where abuse, fraud or multiple accounts are suspected.
8.3. Additional AsclepiCoins can be earned by completing beneficial activities within the app or contributing positively to the community.
8.4. AsclepiCoins may also be purchased through AsclepiCoin.org (not through the Asclepiad app). Purchase-related personal details collected at AsclepiCoin.org are kept separate from your pseudonymous Asclepiad account to preserve privacy.
8.5. Refunds. Purchases are refundable only until the purchased AsclepiCoins are credited to the pseudonymous Asclepiad wallet you specified. Once coins are credited to an anonymous/pseudonymous in-app wallet, they are no longer refundable in order to preserve account anonymity. This does not affect any refund rights you may have at law (for example, for failed, duplicate or unauthorised transactions). Chargebacks may result in coin reversal and account action in line with clause 6.
8.6. AsclepiCoins expire 12 months after they are received or purchased. It is the user’s responsibility to use AsclepiCoins before expiry.
8.7. Asclepeion reserves the right to modify the number of AsclepiCoins required for any feature at any time.
8.8. AsclepiCoins are a virtual unit of account for use within our Services; they are not legal tender, have no cash value outside the Services, and cannot be redeemed for money or transferred to other platforms.
9.1. Asclepeion cannot assume responsibility for any advice provided by Asclepiad. Guidance is generated by AI and intended solely for general well-being, personal growth, and informational and educational purposes. It is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial or psychological advice. Users should consult appropriate professionals before making decisions based on any guidance provided.
9.2. Users acknowledge and agree that Asclepiad’s recommendations are not definitive and should be weighed with personal judgement and, where appropriate, professional input. Asclepeion disclaims all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from any advice provided by Asclepiad, including (without limitation) health deterioration, financial loss, loss of personal relationships, or other adverse outcomes.
9.3. Users are encouraged to report any guidance from Asclepiad that appears questionable, incomplete or potentially harmful so we can review and improve the Service.
9.4. Asclepeion will review feedback but makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of Asclepiad’s guidance. Participation in any community-driven improvement process is at the user’s own risk.
9.5. The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including (without limitation) implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
9.6. Asclepeion does not guarantee any specific outcomes or results from use of the Services. Users remain responsible for their actions and decisions.
9.7. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Asclepeion shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including (without limitation) loss of profits, data, use, goodwill or other intangible losses, resulting from: (i) your use of or inability to use the Services; (ii) any guidance received from Asclepiad; or (iii) any unauthorised access to or use of our systems and/or any information stored therein.
10.1. Informal resolution first. If you have a concern or dispute with Asclepeion, please contact us at support@asclepeion.org (copy legal@asclepeion.org) and include a brief description of the issue, relevant dates and any supporting material. We will review and aim to respond within 14 days. Both parties will use good faith efforts to resolve the matter informally.
10.2. Mediation (optional, before court). If a dispute is not resolved within 30 days of first contact under clause 10.1, either party may propose mediation through CEDR or another reputable UK mediation provider. Mediation may be conducted remotely. Unless otherwise agreed, the parties will share the mediator’s fees equally. Mediation is without prejudice and confidential.
10.3. Court proceedings. If the dispute is not resolved by informal discussion or mediation, either party may bring proceedings in court. These Terms and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
10.4. Small claims. Either party may bring a claim in the small claims court with jurisdiction over the claim (including in your UK home jurisdiction), where the claim qualifies.
10.5. Injunctive relief. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent interim or injunctive relief from any competent court to protect its rights or confidential information.
10.6. Mandatory consumer rights. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer laws.
11.1. Security measures. We strive to keep your data safe through pseudonymisation and encryption, and by keeping purchase details made via AsclepiCoin.org separate from in-app identity (see clause 7). Where supported by your device, you may also enable biometric security. However, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure, and you are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and login credentials.
11.2. Service performance and dependencies. Responses and features may be delayed, degraded or occasionally fail due to third-party dependencies (for example, network providers, hosting, model providers or app stores). We do not guarantee any particular response time or uninterrupted availability. See also clause 5.4 (Maintenance and availability).
11.3. Not a live or emergency service. Asclepiad and related Services are designed to offer thoughtful, educational well-being guidance, not live communication or real-time crisis support. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services or an appropriate crisis hotline in your country. See also clause 4.2.
12.1. For support or to report issues, email support@asclepeion.org.
12.2. Security, legal and privacy notices. For urgent legal notices (including IP) or security vulnerability disclosures, email legal@asclepeion.org. Include steps to reproduce and relevant technical details where possible. Please avoid sharing unnecessary personal data.
12.3. What to include. Provide your Asclepiad username, a concise description of the issue, relevant dates, and (where applicable) screenshots or transaction references from AsclepiCoin.org. Do not send sensitive personal information — see clause 7.
12.4. Response times. We aim to acknowledge support requests as soon as reasonably practicable and prioritise safety/abuse reports. Response times may vary (see clause 5.4 on maintenance and availability).
12.5. Limitations. Due to the pseudonymous design of Asclepiad, we may be unable to verify or restore identities that are not linked to purchase records (see clause 7.4). We cannot contact emergency services on your behalf (see clause 4.2).
13.1. We use third-party service providers to operate and improve the Services (for example, hosting, security, analytics, payment processing and AI model providers). Providers may change over time.
13.2. Use of third-party services may involve processing outside your country. See our Privacy Statement for categories of providers, data handling and international transfers.
13.3. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. We do not control or endorse third-party content or services and are not responsible for their availability or performance.
14.1. We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Services, legal requirements or our policies. When we make changes, we will post the updated Terms at this URL and revise the “Last update” date.
14.2. Your continued use of the Services after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the changes.
15.1. You are responsible for your User Content and must ensure you have the rights to submit it. Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, abusive or violates clause 4.
15.2. Licence to display. You grant Asclepeion a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, revocable licence to host, process and display your User Content within the Services for the purpose of operating and improving the Services. We will only use testimonials or public-facing materials with your permission.
15.3. Removal. We may remove or restrict access to User Content that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms or the law. You may request removal of your testimonials or public-facing materials by contacting support@asclepeion.org.
16.1. If you provide ideas, suggestions, bug reports or other feedback (“Feedback”), you grant Asclepeion a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable and perpetual licence to use the Feedback for any purpose, without compensation or obligation to you. Feedback is voluntary and non-confidential.
17.1. We welcome good-faith reports of security vulnerabilities to legal@asclepeion.org. Please include enough detail to reproduce the issue. Do not access, modify, store or exfiltrate data that is not your own; do not disrupt the Services; and do not compromise privacy or availability.
17.2. We will not pursue legal action against researchers who comply with this clause and act in good faith. Please allow a reasonable period for remediation before any public disclosure.
18.1. You may not use the Services if you are subject to sanctions or are located in a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions or trade restrictions applicable to Asclepeion. We may restrict access where required by law.
19.1. We are not liable for delay or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including (without limitation) acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil disorder, labour disputes, internet or utility failures, denial-of-service attacks, acts of government or changes in law. We will use reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact and resume performance promptly.
20.1. Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights or obligations (for example, in connection with a reorganisation or sale of business).
20.2. No waiver. A failure or delay to enforce any right does not operate as a waiver of it.
20.3. Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remainder will remain in full force and effect.
20.4. Third-party rights. Unless expressly stated, no person other than you and Asclepeion has any rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of these Terms.
20.5. Entire agreement. These Terms, together with policies and terms referenced in them (including the Privacy Statement and in-app booking terms for Odyssey), constitute the entire agreement between you and Asclepeion regarding the Services.
20.6. Governing language. These Terms are in English. If we provide a translation, the English version prevails to the extent of any inconsistency.
By using Asclepiad, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
