These Terms govern your use of Asclepiad. By accepting them, you enter a contract with Asclepeion Ltd (Company No. 15830285, England and Wales). If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Asclepiad is for users aged 18 and over. By using the app, you confirm you meet this requirement.
We do not ask for your real name, email, full date of birth, address, or phone number. Your account is a randomly-generated identifier. We have no way to identify you outside the app, and we don't try to.
Asclepiad is a wellness reflection app. AI characters accompany your reflections. They are companions, not clinicians. Nothing in Asclepiad is therapy, treatment, or medical advice.
A visible SOS option is available throughout every session, with country-appropriate crisis resources. This is for your safety; it is not clinical care. If you are in immediate danger, call emergency services in your country.

Asclepiad uses AsclepiCoin (Λ) — a non-transferable, non-tradeable in-app utility credit. One coin equals one minute of session time. Coins are purchased through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing. Asclepeion Ltd does not process payments directly; Apple and Google are the merchants of record.
14-day right to cancel: Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day right to cancel a purchase of digital content. This right is lost for coins you have already spent on a session. To request a refund for unspent coins within 14 days, use the refund mechanism in the App Store or Google Play.
Session failures: If a session fails through our fault, you receive a refund of Λ60. If the failure is greater — more than fifteen minutes lost, or significant content lost — you receive Λ60 plus Λ60 in additional compensation, with a push notification confirming the action.
Coins do not expire while your account is active.
What you say in a session is yours. We do not sell it. We do not use it to train AI models. We do not use it for marketing. We process it solely to deliver the service to you.
If you send a Synicon to someone in your life, you provide their name, relationship, and brief context notes to us. You are responsible for the information you provide about them. Recipient records are deleted ninety days after you archive them.
You can delete your account at any time from settings. When you do, your voice recordings, transcripts, insights, and recipient records are deleted.
Asclepiad is provided as is. We exclude liability to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud where it cannot lawfully be excluded.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you hold in your country of residence.
If we change these Terms materially, we will tell you in the app and ask you to accept again. Continued use after non-material changes means you accept them.
