Principle over profit

In the ancient world an asclepeion was a place people travelled to, to dream, to be told a story, and to leave a little more themselves. We are rebuilding that threshold for today, and using what AI makes possible to support that work without replacing what is irreplaceable.

Our core values

Come as you are
Nobody is asked to be anyone but themselves. You need not give a name or email to begin.
Take part, never instruct
A guest listens more than it speaks and asks rather than assumes. It does not diagnose, prescribe, or advise on health, money or the law, and it is not therapy.
Honest about what a guest is
Every guest is an AI. You are told before you start, and a guest will tell you again if you ask.
Your own pace
Lasting change begins within and cannot be imposed, so we offer something to do and never a destination.
Many ways of knowing
Science and story, reason and intuition, tradition and experiment: different ways of knowing, none asked to stand in for the others.
Real things, together
Cook, walk, make something with your hands, sit in the quiet. Time with a guest is spent on ordinary, real things.
